Kelly Beach

I was introduced to art as a child by my mom who is my hero. She was an artist and art teacher. She let me paint my first mural on my bedroom wall when I was 9. I loved art and drew all the time, but knew I couldn’t make a living at it so I went into medicine as a career. After I had kids and got burned out on medicine, I turned back to my art again and went back to school. I am currently working on my Masters in Fine Art in figurative and landscape painting at the Art Academy University in San Francisco.

I have been married to a wonderful man for over 11 years and have 2
great kids. I live mostly in Eagle and part time in Sun Valley where I love to paint the beautiful surroundings there. My husband is of European descent and still has family in Europe where we travel frequently. I have painted scenes from Spain, Italy and Sweden. When I am not creating art or playing with my family, I can be found on the back of a horse.

I am greatly inspired by nature… I love mountains, gorgeous trees beautiful animals, such as horses and dogs. Some of my favorite pieces are Trajan, the one of my beautiful Doberman, (not for sale)
the one of the yellow lab, Oly. The one of my former horse, Finn, called “Olde World Horse”. I like “Maroon Bells” as well.

I have opened a new studio, located at 2200 W. Bannock in Boise. It is a 1920s Bungalow that I have refurbished to its original condition. It is cozy and artsy and a beautiful place for me to work and show my art. I plan to have shows there and often times they will offer proceeds to a worthy cause.
